For his part, the Director of Operations of Holcim Argentina, David Isea announced: “We are going to take advantage of our technological processes, but we are also going to make an investment of more than one million dollars that will allow us to provide a sustainable solution to this problem that faces the province but also commits us as a private sector ”.
This treatment is an environmentally sustainable alternative that consists of taking advantage of the energy value of waste, to achieve its total integration into the cement production process, without leaving any type of residue and under the highest environmental standards.
It seeks to recover the energy and minerals they contain, reincorporating them to another production process and reducing the consumption of non-renewable energy.
