How to make your own fresh, low sugar jams

It's simple and inexpensive to make your own quick fresh fruit jams. The advantages are not only in the simplicity because it does not require cooking compared to the preparation of traditional jams, but they also contain little and no sugar.

In these recipes, sugar can be replaced by muscovado or whole cane sugar, by honey or by the addition of some dates.

Another advantage is that by using raw fruit we keep all its vitamins and enzymes intact, making it a complete and easy to digest food.

These jams, in addition to being used for breakfast, can be used as sauces for desserts and as an addition to yogurts and smoothies.

But there is a small disadvantage, since it lacks sugar, which is the preservative of traditional jams, we must keep them in the refrigerator and consume them in the next two or three days of their preparation, so we recommend making small quantities.

Here we share two inspiring recipes. In a minute you will have your jam ready!
