Chickpea bites suitable for diabetics

The flavor and nutritional value of chickpeas is perfectly reflected in this recipe for chickpea snacks, which is also suitable for diabetics.

Although eating is one of the great pleasures of life, the truth is that there are many problems that we must take into account. And one of the most common is diabetes. Luckily, there are all kinds of recipes that can help us take care of ourselves, and in this case, we prepare some tasty chickpea bites for people with diabetes.


3 chives
1 garlic clove minced
500 gr of cooked chickpeas
1 egg
1 tablespoon oatmeal
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste


In a pot with half a cup of water, cook the chives with the minced garlic for 8 minutes, over moderate heat and covered.

In the blender, process the chickpeas previously cooked in water and add the egg, oats, parsley, and onions. Season with salt and pepper. For when you have a homogeneous paste.

Divide the pasta into 12 portions and shape into balls. In a pan with a little vegetable spray, put the chickpea balls and cook on each side, until golden brown, for 3 or 4 minutes on each side.

Each serving of chickpea bites (2) provides only 28 grams of carbohydrates and 33 mg of cholesterol.
